" It was said that a long long time ago, a sea of giant asteroids struck the vast lands of Bak'su exterminating life as we know it. The impact formed a giant crater, mutating and affecting the surviving creatures around the area. Out of destruction comes new growth, and it gave rise to a new age dominated by anthropomorphic animals."

Within the enigmatic Temple of Animalia lies a sacred high place that forms the cradle of civilization for the age of animals. Little is known about how the megalithic structures are being constructed but the sheer scale and precision of the structure seem to suggest giants in the First Age and construction technology that has been lost in time. Within the temple lies a Shrine that houses fragments of the Asteroids that ended the age of Mankind. One of the reasons why the temple is well guarded is due to the stepwell and water conduits that are distributed within the crater. The water system helps to harvest seasonal rainwater and provide water sources for the inhabitants. Every morning the animals will congregate around the watering hole for drinking and their daily rituals.
